Positive charge on n-side of the junction

Some  of  the  free  electrons  move  across  the junction  from  n-type  to  p-type, leaving  behind  positive  donor  ions  as  they  are  robbed  of  the  free  electrons.   This establishes a positive charge on n-side of the junction.
