Platinichloride Method for Bases - Chemical Methods

Organic bases combine along with chloroplatinic acid, H2PtCl6 to make insoluble platinichlorides, that on ignition, opt out a remains of metallic platinum. By knowing the mass of platinum salt and the mass of metallic platinum, molecular mass of platinum salt can be ascertained. Let B represents one molecule of the base. Whether the base is mono-acidic, the formula of the salt will be B2H2PtCl6.
