Mounting Systems For The  Welding Head-Carriage mounted type


In this set up, the welding head is mounted on a movable carriage. The carriage is mounted on rails and powered by a variable speed electric motor. The main controls such as carriage speed,current, voltage, etc., are provided on the carriage itself for facilitating ease of operation. Carriage mounted welding heads are most suitable for butt and fillet welding of plates. Depending on weld length, the rail length shall be extended to complete the welding.
