Q. Module Assembly Site Preparation?

To set a module on the piles installed on project site, the following preparations shall be made:

The Designer shall provide design elevations and positions (x, y, z coordinates) for all piping tie-in points on the design drawings. It is essential that all site piping inter-module tie-ins can be worked without field modifications.

The Surveyor shall "As-Build" all piping tie-in locations at the module fabrication site. Tie-in x, y, z coordinates shall be "As-Build" referenced to the module supports.

The four corner support columns of the particular module shall be scribed and punch marked with the exact column centreline in each direction. Punch marking and scribing shall be on the:

• Vertical face of the column

• Top of the base plate

• Vertical edge of the base plate

Each support column shall be surveyed to determine its location from the key corner column (A-1) and piping tie-in locations.

The base plate of each support column shall be surveyed to determine the bottom elevation of each corner of the base plate relative to the floor and piping tie-in locations.

Prepare "As-build" drawings of the piping tie-ins and module support elevations and x, y, z coordinates.

Survey data shall be forwarded to the Owner's Site construction support and Home Office, prior to module setting on piles.
