Method of Making magnet:
There are two types of making magnets.
Single Touch Method:
a. In this method a bar magnet is rubbed on a hard steel bar.
b. The magnet is kept in inclined position. Position and its direction should be from south to north.
c. On reaching the north pole, the bar magnet is lifted and the process is repeated again and again.
Electric Method:
a. In this method insulated copper wire is wound around a u-shaped steel bar.
b. The two ends of the wire are linked with the battery and strong current is passed by the coil for few seconds.
The current transformer has a single turn on the primary winding and a secondary winding of 60 turns. The secondary winding is connected to an ammeter with a resistance of 0.15
A transformer takes a current of 0.8A when its primary is connected to a 240 volt, 50Hz supply, the secondary being on open circuit. If the power absorbed is 72 watts, Determi
