Q. Mechanical Data for Line Designation Tables?
Line Designation Tables (LDT's) are initially generated by the Piping designers. Design conditions are inputed by the Process discipline, and the Mechanical Engineer/Specialist is responsible for addition of the Mechanical Engineering fabrication and testing sections. The Process and Piping groups are responsible for the data their groups provide, and shall indicate this by signing the LDT. The Mechanical Engineer/Specialist has overall responsibility for the preparation, coordination, signing and stamping of the LDT's.
