Materials for AC applications

These applications generally needs low coercivity Hc and low power loss, high permeability µ, high saturation magnetization.

The low value of power loss is essential because in AC applications the material alternatively alters from one polarity to the other, so it is significant to have a very thin hysteresis loop, with high saturation and as a result low coercivity (Hc).
