What is main dissimilarity among cement plaster, cement render and cement screed? Under what state each of above can be used?


Answer

Purpose of plastering, rendering and screeding is to make a smooth, flat surface to be given finishes like paint, wallpaper and so on.

Plastering is intermediately coating of building resources to be applied on internal facade of concrete walls or blockwalls. Image is intermediate coating for outer walls only. Screeding is coating laid on floors to receive finishes like tiles, carpet, marble etc.
