Low Investments in Transmission and Distribution System
The investment on T&D system in our country has commonly been lower than that on generation. It is hugely believed in which the ideal ratio among the investments in generation to in which the distribution sector should be 1:1. Therefore, the actual investment ratio has been 1:0.7. The low investment on T&D has commonly led to the neglect of the distribution sector. The funds given were mostly used for meeting general development works that comprised giving new connections without adequate reinforcement required thereof.
