Q. Inspection and testing for coating application?
The Applicator shall perform all inspection and testing necessary to assure that the surface preparation and coating application comply with the requirements of this specification. All work shall be subject to the OWNER's inspection. The OWNER shall be the final authority on the acceptability of surface preparation and coating application.
The powder manufacturer's representative shall have access to the Applicator's facilities during the progress of the work to undertake any inspection and testing deemed necessary to ensure that the coatings are properly applied.
The Applicator shall keep the records of operating parameters and inspection and test results, and submit such records to OWNER's inspector on a daily basis, for verification. This daily record keeping and submittal to the OWNER's inspector is important to ensure continuing compliance with the specification.
