Indexed empty matrix:
The Individual elements cannot be eliminated from matrices, as matrices always have the similar number of elements in every row.
>> mat = [7 9 8; 4 6 5]
mat =
7 9 8
4 6 5
>> mat(1,2) = [];
??? The Indexed empty matrix assignment is not permitted.
Though, whole rows or columns could be removed from a matrix. For illustration, to remove the second column:
>> mat(:,2) = []
7 8
4 5
Example of Minimum and Maximum Value For matrices, the functions min and max operate column wise by the default: >> mat = randint(2,4,[1 20]) mat = 9 10 1
Function isreal - complex numbers: The function isreal returns 1 for logical true when there is no imaginary part of the argument, or 0 for false when the argument does have a
Give the formula for a rational function that has a hole at x=7 & vertical asmptote at x=-3/2
This project requires you to use the ideas of Chapter 25 regarding maximization of a function. Here we assume that evolution has acted to generate highly efficient foragers. By hig
Creating string Variables: The string consists of a few numbers of characters (including, possibly, none). These are the illustrations of the strings: '' 'x' 'ca
Fliplr function: The fliplr function "flips" the matrix from left to right (in another words the left-most column, the first column, become the last column and so on), and the
bar and barh functions: For a matrix, the bar and barh functions will group altogether the values in each and every row. The illustration is as shown: rm = randint(2,4,[1
Common form of the switch statement: The common form of the switch statement is as shown below: switch switch_expression case caseexp1 action1 case cas
Strcat function - Concatenation : The strcat function, though, will eliminate the trailing blanks from strings before concatenating. Note that in these illustrations, the trail
Use of logical vector: Determine how many elements in the vector vec were greater than 5, the sum function can be used on the resulting vector isg: >> sum(isg) ans =
