Counting in a While Loop:
Whenever it is not known ahead of the time how many values will be entered into the script, it is often essential to count the number of values which are entered. For illustration, if numbers are read into the script, and then the average of the numbers is preferred, the script should add them together, and keep the track of how many there are, in order to compute the average. The variation below on the script counts the number of numbers which the user successfully enters:
Example of Logical built-in functions: For equivalent to all the function, we should make sure that the entire elements in the vector are logically true. The one way of doing
User input in the while loop: Here is an illustration of running this script: >> readonenum Enter a positive number: -5 Invalid! Enter a positive number: -2.2
Structure Consisting of the Fields A MATLAB can also solve the sets of equations. In this illustration, the solutions for x, y, & z are returned as a structure consisting of th
Use of logical vector: Determine how many elements in the vector vec were greater than 5, the sum function can be used on the resulting vector isg: >> sum(isg) ans =
Built-in function for Differentiation: The MATLAB has a built-in function, diff that returns the differences between consecutive elements in a vector. For illustration, >>
Logical Vectors: The relational operators can also be used with the vectors and matrices. For illustration, let's say that there is a vector, and we want to compare each eleme
Illustration of Variance For illustration, for the vector [4, 6, 1, 5], there are n = 4 values therefore n - 1 is 3. The mean of this data set is also 4. The variance will be
Example of Symbolic Expression When there is more than one variable, the MATLAB selects which to solve for. In the illustration below, the equation ax 2 + bx = 0 is solved. Th
Recursive Functions: The Recursion occurs whenever something is defined in terms of itself. In the programming, a recursive function is a function which calls itself. The Recu
Program of built-in factorial function: Calling this function yields similar result as the built-in factorial function: >> fact(5) ans = 120 >> factorial(
