Illustrate the doctrine of judicial precedent?

The doctrine of judicial precedent

It states that higher court decision are binding on lower courts and like a result it implies that there is levels of superiority within courts, for illustration the House of Lords is a higher court than the Crown Court as well as any choices made through the House of Lords will be binding upon the Crown Court. It makes sure consistency in decisions made through judges.

Stare decisis: This is a maxim that implies stand by a decision and is while precedent is followed.
