Illustrate boyles law, Chemistry

Assignment Help:

Q. Explain Boyles law with volume and pressure graph?

Ans.

Boyle's law demonstrates the relationship between the volume (V) and pressure (P) of a gas. This law shows that the volume varies inversely with the pressure. When the pressure on a gas is increased, its volume will decrease and vice versa.

Boyle's law can be expressed as:

PV = k (where k is a constant) or
P1V1 = P2V2 (the 1 and 2 subscripts refer to initial and final conditions, respectively). These two equations are used frequently in calculations.
