Hydrology-It is the science which encompasses the properties, movement, distribution and occurrence of the waters of the earth and their association along with the environment inside each phase of the hydrologic cycle. The hydrologic cycle, or water cycle, is a continuous process through which water is purified through evaporation and transported by the earth's surface (consisting of the oceans) to the atmosphere and back to the oceans and land. Each of the biological, physical and chemical processes concerning water as this travels its different paths in the atmosphere, beneath and above the earth's surface and throughout growing plants, are of interest to those who study about the hydrologic cycle.
