How Vaginal infections cause

Sulfonamide creams, other ''broad-spectrum'' vaginal preparations, and currently available preparations of Lactobacillus  species or dairy products are not reliably effective for treatment or prevention of any vaginal infection. Douching is not effective for prevention or treatment of vaginal infection, may lead to upper genital tract infection, and should be discouraged.
