Step to improve Power Factor

By using static capacitor:

Static capacitor is usually used to better the power factor of the power system. As the capacitor draws leading current which partly  or fully neutralizes the lagging wattless component of the least current, therefore increasing the over all power factor of the load. For improving the power factor , capacitor is linked in parallel with the  load.
