How to Dividing Rational Expressions ?
To divide two fractions, or rational expressions, keep in Mind that division is the same as multiply by the Reciprocal of the second fraction. Here's what you do with simple fractions. Do you remember what you're supposed to do when you divide?
(2/5) / (3/7) = (2/5) . (7/3) = 14/15
This method of changing the division to multiplication by the reciprocal is also used to divide rational expression.
