How temperature influences the process of soil formation

Temperature is another climatic agent which influences the process of soil formation.  It affects the P/E ratio.  If the temperature is high P\E ratio is poor.  If temperature is low P/E ratio is more.  Temperature also governs the process of various chemical reactions and also the growth of various microorganisms.
