High initial permeability in fe-ni alloys, Chemistry

Assignment Help:

Illustrate how a high initial permeability in Fe-Ni alloys helps to reduce the area under hysteresis loop.

The most favourably oriented fully-grown domain tends to rotate so as to be in complete alignment with field direction. Energy required to rotate an entire domain is more than that required to move domain walls during growth. Consequently slope of the B-H curve decreases on approaching saturation.
