Foucault Pendulum and Mach's Principle
Within theoretical physics, particularly in discussions of gravitation theories, Mach's principle (or Mach's conjecture) is the name given through Einstein to an imprecise hypothesis frequent credited to the philosopher Ernst Mach and physicist.
