Forensics: Accidents occur every minute. Very frequently, there are no witnesses except for the individuals concerned in the accident or worse yet, there are no surviving witnesses. Accident reconstruction is a field where computer animation has been very helpful. A person arguing for say as it offers the capability for the court to witness the accident from more than only a bystander's perspective. One time the reconstruction has been finished, the camera can be placed any way in a scene. The accident might be observed from either driver's perspective, or even bird's eye view.

New animation systems permit detectives to recreate terrains and nearby and actually compute different things as angles of bullet shots or levels of visibility. It is extremely helpful since very frequently, the site of an accident may have changed a lot as the time of the mishap.

Computer animation can also be utilized to simulate the landscape wherein an operation will be going on. A satellite altitude picture can be transformed into a 3-D model by using software and then animated with trees and under any weather.
