Field system od dc motor, Physics

Assignment Help:

Field system: The object of the field system is to make a uniform magnetic field, within which the armature rotates. It consists of four parts- yoke, pole core, pole shoe and field -coils. The yoke acts as a frame of the machine and carries the magnetic flux formed by the poles. In small machines cast iron yokes are used, but for large machines yoke is made using fabricated steel.
