Factoring polynomials, Mathematics

Assignment Help:

Factoring polynomials is probably the most important topic. We already learn factor of polynomial .If you can't factor the polynomial then you won't be able to even start the problem let alone finish it.

Let's begin out by talking a little bit about only what factoring is.  Factoring is the procedure in which we go about find out what we multiplied to get the given quantity.  We do this all the time along numbers. For example, here are a variety of ways to factor 12.

12 = ( 2) (6)                                       12 = ( 1/2 ) (24)              12 = (3) ( 4)

12 = ( -2) ( -6)                                  12 = (-2) ( 2) (3)            12 = ( 2) ( 2) (3)

 There are several more possible ways to factor 12, however these are representative of several of them.

A common method of factoring numbers is to wholly factor the number into +ve prime factors.
