Drive an mathmatical expression for condition of maximum discharge through the chimney.

Dry saturated steam is supplied from a boiler to a steam engine at a pressure of 15 bar. It is the expended adiabatically in the turbine to a pressure of 1 bar. Evaluate :

(i) Rankine efficiency

(ii) Give steams consumption Kg/kwh

(iii) Carnot efficiency between the same temperature limits.
