Q. Explain the working of Die Casting?
In the die casting process the, mould used for a casting is permanent called a die casting. it is shown in figure. It is thus quite different from sand casting where the mould is expandable and must be broken in order to obtain the casting. If the molten metal is forced into a metallic die under external pressure, the process is known as "pressure die casting" or "simply die casting"
