Explain the Well Drawdown Equations

Watch the units, especially if you use log10 or ln.   

h1 = aquifer thickness minus the drawdown (ft)  r1 = distance from well (ft)

h2 = aquifer thickness minus the drawdown (ft)  r2 = distance from well (ft)  

If the answer is in units of Q = ft3/day, use K units = ft3/day-ft2 

If the answer is in units of Q = gal/min or gal/day, use K units = gal/day-ft2
