Explain the Types of System Calls

The major types of system calls are like this:

a. Process Control: These types of system calls are employed to control the processes.     
Some instances are end, execute, create process, abort, load, terminate process etc.

b. File Management: These types of system calls are employed to manage files. Some instances are read, Create file, open, delete file, close, write etc.

c. Device Management: These types of system calls are employed to manage devices. Some instances are Request device, read, release device, write, get device attributes etc.
