Q. Explain the reuse maintenance model with the help of a diagram.
Ans: Recycle maintenance model this model is based on the principal that maintenance could be viewed as an activity involving the reuse of existing program components
The recycle model has four main steps:
1. The Identification of the parts of the old system that are candidates for reuse.
2. The Understanding of these system parts.
3. The Modification of the Old system parts appropriate to the new requirements.
4. The Integration of the modified parts into the new system.
With the five recycle model the starting point may be any phase of the life cycle. The design, the requirements, the code or the test data: - distinctly other models.
