Explain the Disadvantages of Automation?

a) Initial cost is higher providing additional features in machine tools.

b) Skilled personnel's are required for maintenance of automatic machine tools.

c) This increase maintenance cost.

d) Numerical control is considered to be an improved control for machine tools that provides higher productivity.

e) Today industry demands faster production in harder and tougher material to unprecedented tolerance. Conventional machine tools manual or automatic. Cannot meet these demands and the answer to the problem has been found in what is called the numerical control of machine tools.
