Explain the Design Procedure for Flip Flop?

The design procedure as follows.

1) Acquire the clear description of the desired flip flop X.
2) Acquire the present state- next state table for the desired flip flop.
3) Using the excitation table of the chosen flip flop Y append the next state code to the above tale.
4) Using K map simplift the logical expression for the excitation inputs of flip flop Y.
5) Draw the circuit for the desired flip flop X.
