Explain the Biometric Systems in brief.

Biometrics:

It is the science of measuring physical properties of living beings.

Biometric Authentication:

(a) This authentication is the automatically recognition of a living being by using appropriate body characteristics.

(b) Through measuring an individual's physical features within an authentication inquiry and comparing that data along with stored biometric reference data, the uniqueness of a specific user is found.

Authentication implies identification and verification.
