Explain the Architectural description languages

Architectural description languages (ACLs) have been developed for the architectural description in analysis and design process. Some of the important architectural description languages are Rapide, Asesop, Unicorn, Wright, UML, ACME and ADML. Presently, Universal Modelling Language (UML) is a de facto standard for design and description of the object oriented systems and includes many of artefacts needed for architectural description, for example like processes, views, nodes etc.
