Q. Explain about Octal Numbers system?

An octal system has 8 digits signified as 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7. For finding equal decimal number of an octal number one has to find quantity of octal number that is again computed as:

Octal number (23.4)8.

(Please note subscript 8 denotes it is an octal number in the same way a subscript 2 will denote binary and 10 will signify decimal and H will signify Hexadecimal number in case no subscript is written then number must be treated as a decimal number or else whatever number system is specified before it.)
