Explain procedure of job evaluation.

Procedure of Job Evaluation: 

The procedure for job evaluation is as specified below:

(i)  Know the jobs to evaluate.

(ii) Select the most appropriate technique or method of evaluation.

(iii) Knows major job characteristics and then minor ones.

(iv) Inform all concerned workers and supervisors.

(v)  Mke definitions and for comparison their measuring scale.

(vi) Prepare job rating questionnaires/Performa and collect inputs.

(vii) Sort out initial descriptions and found grades/classes.

(viii) Identify and evaluate key jobs and other remaining jobs. 

(ix) Take in consideration representations of workers into job rating.

(x) For key jobs/make inter-company survey.

(xi) Transfer rating values into money terms.

(xii) Plot a scatter diagram for the more key jobs and end jobs.

(xiii) Bargain on wage finalise and structure.
