Nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors

(NRTIs) — Nucleoside analogs inhibit HIV reverse transcriptase and reduce or stop HIV replication in infected cells. All NRTIs except didanosine are taken without regard to meals and generally do not interact with other drugs.
