Non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors
(NNRTIs) - These drugs are direct, non-nucleoside inhibitors of HIV-1 reverse transcriptase. Combinations of an NNRTI with NRTIs tend to be at least additive in reducing HIV replication in vitro.
