Explain legal side of the decision-making process, Operation Management

Assignment Help:

Assume that as a result of HR planning, a mental hospital identifies a shortage of therapists but a surplus of case workers. Discuss the actions that you would take to address these problems, and explain why they must be approached carefully.

In your response, you should think about various problematic areas and situations. Also, you should make a few suggestions and/or recommendations. Please pay particular attention to possible legal ramifications for various decisions that might be involved in this process (note: although this is only basic HRM course, you will still need to think about the legal side of the decision-making process). Many of the legal cases involving HR matters occur due to the lack of consideration and careful decision making on the part of HR personnel.

In other words, step out of the box and think about yourself. What if you were one of these workers? ? Now, think about what you really should do in a case like this one.
