Explain the term Industry Standard Architecture Bus.
The Industry Standard Architecture, bus has been approximately since the very start of the IBM-compatible personal computer system. Actually, any card from the very first personal computer will plug in and performed in any of the modern Pentium 4-based computers. It is all made possible by the Industry Standard Architecture bus interface found in all these machines that is still compatible along with the early personal computers.
Industry standard architecture bus has evolved from its original 8-bit standard to the 16-bit standard determined in most systems today. The industry standard architecture bus connector has the entire de-multiplexed address bus (A19-A0) for the 8-bit data bus (D7-D0), the 1M byte 8088 system and the four control signals MEMR', MEMW' and IOR' and IOW' for controlling I/O and any memory which might be placed on the printed circuit card. Industry standard architecture card only operates at 8 MHz rate.
Analysis of Semiconductor Devices There are two complementary techniques of studying semiconductor devices: Via numerical simulation of the semiconductor equation
Explain the term full duplex transmission. Data can travel in both directions concurrently. There is no require to switch from transmit to receive mode as in half duplex. It's
Consider a transmitter S which radiates a sinusoidal carrier frequency of 1850 MHz. For a vehicle moving at 26.82 m/s, compute the received carrier frequency if the vehicle is movi
What are the advantages of modern ac generators and Integrated Drive Generators? There are two questions here. I''d really like it if somebody could help me. I''m an AE student.
Comparison of Analog-Modulation Systems The comparison of analog modulation systems (conventional AM, DSB SC, SSB SC, VSB, FM, and PM) can be based on three practical criteria:
Q. Explain the operation of N-channel FET? Transistor is a linear semiconductor device that controls current with the application of a lower-power electrical signal. Transistor
Q. What is the advantage of using JFET as an amplifier? As an amplifier of small time-varying signals, the JFET has a number of valuable assets. First of all it has a very high
Q. Why is an emitter bypass capacitor used in an RC coupled amplifier? If an emitter resistor Re is used for self-bias in an amplifier and if it is desired to avoid the degene
