Explain in brief about the ciliary muscle
During accommodation the ciliary muscle contracts and in turn the size of the ciliary ring is reduced. This results in the suspensory ligament getting relaxed and the lens becomes more spherical, with an increase in anteroposterior diameter and a decrease of the curvature radius of the anterior surface.
