Explain Genetically modified foods
The use of biotechnology and understanding the nature of DNA has led to what we call as 'genetic modification'. It is a technique of changing by inactivating, deleting or inserting genes to produce a desired characteristic. In this technique, . selected individual genes are transferred from one organism (microbes, plant or animal) to'another organism.
