Explain frequency reuse

In the cellular concept, service area is separated into regions called cells and the available frequency is divided among these cells. Every cellular base station is assigned dissimilar frequencies to avoid interference. But cells in different geographic locations may concurrently use the same frequency channel. The design process of selecting and allocating frequencies for all cellular base stations within a system is known as frequency reuse or frequency planning.
