For some countries like India and China, the population is increasing at a very fast rate, while for others e.g. U.S., it is increasing at a slower rate, in some countries it is even declining e.g. in Sweden and Hungary. All the countries of the world pass through different stages in population growth and accordingly exhibit changes in population growth.
