Assignment Help:

Creation of a Microsoft Project File Follow the instructions below to create a small project file to submit to your instructor. Instructions: Load Microsoft Office Project 2007 "trial software" from the text to your PC (if you do not have access to MS Project currently). If you purchased the eBook, or did not receive the free trail CD of Microsoft Project 2007, a free 60-day trial of the 2010 version can be downloaded here. (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/ee404758.aspx). Review the "Video Tutorials" section of the Textbook CDROM Tutorial #1, Tutorial #2, Tutorial #3, and Tutorial #5. ©2011 McGraw-Hill Higher Education, a division of The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. All rights reserved. Create a work breakdown structure exactly how it is shown in Tutorial #2, and enter the tasks exactly how the video tutorial describes. Load all 14 activities and perform the "indent" function for the "Mobile Reporting System" project. Start and finish dates do not have to be copied from the video example. Enable the view to "Show Outline Number" as shown in Tutorial #3. Enter the Durations of the tasks as shown in Tutorial #5. You can use the exact durations shown in Tutorial #5 for your assignment. You do not need to use the "alternative" timeframes, as shown in Tutorial #5. You can keep everything in days. Save the work breakdown structure as a PDF and submit the assignment by following the Waypoint Assignment Submission instructions. MS Project - Saving to PDF Option 1: This requires the purchase of Adobe Acrobat: Click the File tab within MS Project. Click Save As. In the File Name box, enter a name for the file, if you haven't already. Select a save location such as your Desktop. In the Save as type list, click PDF Files, and then click Save. In the Document Export Options dialog box, select the Publish Range - All, and then click Ok. Submit your .PDF using the Assignment Submission button within Week Two of your course shell. Option 2: If you are unable to purchase Adobe Acrobat, please use this method: Hold down the ALT key on your keyboard and also hold down Print Screen at the same time (This is similar to "copy" and "paste," but this will capture an image of your entire screen instead of a specific selection) Open a new, blank Word document.
