Arc-Welding Processes
Arc-welding includes those welding processes wherein heat required for welding is derived from an arc powered by electrical energy, may be AC of DC as shown in figure1.2. Very high temperatures (up to 30,000'C and more) are obtained in the welding are developed between the tip of electrode and the work piece.

In arc-welding, the electrodes used may be consumable type or non-consumable type.
Method:- Using the constant velocity joint attaching to spindle. U-joint is a joint used to attach two non parallel non intersecting shafts, and it can transfer power at angle
Masonry Arch Culverts: Brick or stone masonry arches were very popular forms for culverts till recently. The disadvantage with this form is the unavoidable humps in the longi
Angle of Repose(α): It is the maximum angle of inclined plane on which body tends to move down the plane because of its own weight. Consider the equilibrium of body when body

Calculate plastic zone: Calculate plastic zone ahead of crack in above problem if σY = 250 MPa. Solution From Eq. Here KI is taken as KI max since the plastic
The round tensile specimen given below has a diameter of 0.5 in. A load, F, is applied and the deflection, g , is calculated. Given the following d = 0.5 in
sir, you are doing such a great thing.but my suggestion is that please u put some engineering problems to solve. for engineering student like me.
Net force acting on particle of mass 2 kg is 10N in north direction. At t=o, particle was moving eastwards with 10m/s. Find displacement and velocity of particle after 2 seconds.
A cantilevered beam is to be made of 7075-T6 aluminum with a uniaxial yield strength of 469 MPa. The beam is 1m long, and is loaded with the following limit loads: a bending mome
Q. Show the tensile properties of material? Tensile properties indicate how the material will react to forces being applied in tension. A tensile test is a fundamental mechanic
