The Coriolis effect is a deflection of moving objects when they are reflects in a rotating reference frame. In a reference frame with clockwise rotation, the deflection is to the left of the motion of the object; in one with counter-clockwise rotation, the deflection is to the right. Though recognized previously by others, the mathematical expression for the Coriolis force appeared in an 1835 paper by French scientist Gaspard-Gustave Coriolis, in connection with the theory of water wheels. In the 20th century, the term Coriolis force started to be used in connection with meteorology.
When a certain beam of light falls upon a metal surface, it ejects photoelectrons from it. The number of photoelectrons ejected per second by the beam of light depends upon on
Two wires on a piano are the same length and are pulled by the same tension. wire 1 vibrates at a frequency 1.5 times the frequency of wire 2. Calculate the ratio of their masses (
1. Consider two monoenergetic photon beams with the same photon fluences. In one beam the photons are 100 keV and in the other they are 1 MeV. Determine the most appropriate relati

As we''re on an inclined plane shouldn''t we take the x & y components of gravity into consideration?? thanks
An x-ray photon collides with a free electron, and the photon is scattered. During this collision there is conservation of: a) momentum but not energy b) neither moment
CPH has rest mass, so how it explained by relativity? Answer; never can we see CPH at rest condition. CPH moves faster than light.
State of Motion: Inertia is the tendency of an object to resist alters in its state of motion. State of motion of an object is described by its velocity - speed with a direc
