The Coriolis effect is a deflection of moving objects when they are reflects in a rotating reference frame. In a reference frame with clockwise rotation, the deflection is to the left of the motion of the object; in one with counter-clockwise rotation, the deflection is to the right. Though recognized previously by others, the mathematical expression for the Coriolis force appeared in an 1835 paper by French scientist Gaspard-Gustave Coriolis, in connection with the theory of water wheels. In the 20th century, the term Coriolis force started to be used in connection with meteorology.
Suppose a baseball rolls 3.2 m across the floor. If the ball's angular displacement is 82 rad, what is the circumference of the ball?
Illustrated below are 5 of the normal modes of ethylene (HCCH). At its equilibrium geometry this molecule has no dipole moment, but for some of the normal modes the distortion dur
When the electron is known energy from external source, it goes to higher energy level. This process is called as excitation. The minimum energy needed to excite an atom is know
It is the property of changing readily from a solid or liquid to a vapour. It is the speed that a chemical compounds evaporates. Higher volatility indicates faster evaporation.
A radioactive substance has a half life of 1 min. If one nuclei decays now , when will be next decay????
It is the lowest temperature at which a flammable liquid can form an ignitable mixture with air. At this temperature the vapour may cease to burn when the source of incitation is r
