This unit will focus on nutrition and ageing and will outline the current nutritional recommendations for healthy ageing. One of the fundamental and unavoidable facts of Life is that our bodies change with age. They change from the way they look to the way they function. Externally, the hair greys, skin wrinkles, eyes and ears also go through their own degenerations. Internally, many physiological changes occur and practically all the tissues and organs decline in their function or efficiency over time.
