A balance trick

Get a smooth metre stick and let it rest lightly on your two forefingers. Place your fingers near the ends of the stick and then move them in the direction of the centre. Where do your fingers meet on the metre stick? Place the finger of your right hand close to the end of the metre stick and the other about half way to the centre on the other side and repeat.
