Example of Logical built-in functions:
For equivalent to all the function, we should make sure that the entire elements in the vector are logically true. The one way of doing this is to count how many elements are true, and then contrast the count to the number of elements in the vector. Recall that any non-zero value can be used to present the concept of true.
>> myall(vec1)
ans =
1
>> myall(vec2)
0
>> myall(vec3)
Illustration of nested function: The output arguments are distinct from variables. The scope of an output argument is merely the nested function; and it cannot be used in the
Use of string variables: The Characters involve letters of the alphabet, punctuation marks, digits, white space, and control characters. The Control characters are characters
Creating Customized strings: There are many built-in functions which create customized strings, including blanks, char, and sprintf. We know that the char function can be u
Three-dimensional pie and bar: For the bar3 function, x & y vectors are passed and the function displays three-dimensional bars as shown in figure: Figure: Three-dimen
Indexed empty matrix: The Individual elements cannot be eliminated from matrices, as matrices always have the similar number of elements in every row. >> mat = [7 9 8; 4 6
Writing to Files: There are many lower level functions which can write to files. We will focus on the fprintf function that can be used to write a file and also to append to a
Strcat function - Concatenation : The strcat function, though, will eliminate the trailing blanks from strings before concatenating. Note that in these illustrations, the trail
Applications of Customized Strings: Labels, Prompts, Arguments to Functions: The one of very useful application of this is to involve numbers in strings that are used to plot
Illustration of Spreadsheet Files: This reads the numbers in a double vector variable nums and the text in a cell array txt (the xlsread function forever returns the numbers f
Illustration of logical built-in functions: The function find returns the indices of a vector which meet certain criteria. For illustration, to find all the elements in a vect
