Example of Logical built-in functions:
For equivalent to all the function, we should make sure that the entire elements in the vector are logically true. The one way of doing this is to count how many elements are true, and then contrast the count to the number of elements in the vector. Recall that any non-zero value can be used to present the concept of true.
>> myall(vec1)
ans =
1
>> myall(vec2)
0
>> myall(vec3)
Changing Dimensions: In addition to transpose operator, the MATLAB has some built-in functions which change the dimensions or configuration of matrices, involving fliplr, resh
Script a MATLAB program which meets the following specications: The program expects an input of a two-variable real-valued continuous function f : R^2--> R The program is to cal
Built-in function for Differentiation: The MATLAB has a built-in function, diff that returns the differences between consecutive elements in a vector. For illustration, >>
Illustration of a recursive function: illustration is of a recursive function which does not return anything, but simply prints. The below function prtwords receives a sentenc
fprintf function - File function: The fprintf function really returns the number of bytes which was written to the file, therefore if you do not want to see that number, suppr
Illustration of Writing variables to a file: For illustration, in the below session in the Command Window, 3 variables are generated; these are then exhibited using who. Then,
Empty Vectors: An empty vector or in another words, a vector which stores no values, can be generated using the empty square brackets: >> evec = [] evec = [] >> lengt
Illustration of Advanced file input and output: For illustration, to refer to the third number in the first element of the cell array: >> subjdata{1}(3) ans =
Illustration of Standard Deviation The less spread out the numbers are, therefore smaller the standard deviation will be, as it is a way of determining the spread of the data.
Three-dimensional pie and bar: For the bar3 function, x & y vectors are passed and the function displays three-dimensional bars as shown in figure: Figure: Three-dimen
