Example of Logical built-in functions:
For equivalent to all the function, we should make sure that the entire elements in the vector are logically true. The one way of doing this is to count how many elements are true, and then contrast the count to the number of elements in the vector. Recall that any non-zero value can be used to present the concept of true.
>> myall(vec1)
ans =
1
>> myall(vec2)
0
>> myall(vec3)
Writing and Reading Spreadsheet Files: The MATLAB functions xlswrite & xlsread will write to and read from the spreadsheet files which have the extension .xls. For illustratio
Example of Minimum and Maximum Value For matrices, the functions min and max operate column wise by the default: >> mat = randint(2,4,[1 20]) mat = 9 10 1
This project requires you to use the ideas of Chapter 25 regarding maximization of a function. Here we assume that evolution has acted to generate highly efficient foragers. By hig
Labels and Prompts: The script loads all the numbers from file into a row vector. It then splits the vector; it stores the initial element that is the experiment number in a v
Illustration of logical built-in functions: The function find returns the indices of a vector which meet certain criteria. For illustration, to find all the elements in a vect
Three-Dimensional Plots: The MATLAB has many functions which will display three-dimensional plots. Most of these functions have similar name as corresponding two-dimensional p
Use of string variables: The Characters involve letters of the alphabet, punctuation marks, digits, white space, and control characters. The Control characters are characters
Illustration of Spreadsheet Files: This reads the numbers in a double vector variable nums and the text in a cell array txt (the xlsread function forever returns the numbers f
Illustration of Logical vectors: Calling the function appears to return similar vector as simply vec > 5, and summing the result still works to determine how many elements wer
Example of Recursive functions: This definition is recursive as a factorial is defined in terms of the other factorial. There are two parts to any recursive definition: the co
