DISPOSAL OF MICROBIAL CULTURES: After the study is finished microbial cultures should not be left in the laboratory or taken out of the laboratory alive because availability of the medium can help many other types of microbes to grow in abundance, and as you are aware many of the microbes are pathogenic. The non-pathogenic microbes also cause problems like infections if they grow in abundance.
